
Day 14, the end of week 2 and now on to the 3rd week of training!
Only 16 weeks of training left. When I look back over the last 2 weeks, it has flown by very quickly. It is very true that the time goes by whether we do something or not, I prefer the "do something" vs the alternative. When I look back at the photo on the left, I am reminded how I was training for my first half marathon 2 years ago. My running partner, Kelly (we were Kelly & Kelly), and I could have never imagined that we could finish 13.1 miles, neither of us had ever done pushed ourselves like that. But, with consistent training and working the program... WE DID IT! Words cannot express how accomplished and fulfilled you feel when you cross the finish line for the first time. No joke... it was really hard at times, but it is soo worth it in the end.
