Nice 5 mile jog this morning... I can say that now, but it sure was tough getting out the door.
And, I kept telling myself "you never regret it when you're done" (thanks Valerie). That was soo true today and it took me a good 2 miles to kick it in gear. There certainly are those days that it is harder than others to get out there and make it happen. Yet, even though it was difficult, I was very proud of myself for doing it. No one can take that away from you.
I just wanna soak up the sun - Today's Tune is a good one! When I was running today, it was raining on one side of me and sunny on the other. I took a picture of a rainbow to post tonight, although I am soo tired I cannot figure out how to make that happen. Maybe tomorrow?
So, after I see the rainbow and I am running (about 3.5 miles into the 5 mile run), Sheryl Crow's "Soak up the Sun" came on and her words about "its not getting what you want, its wanting what you have" were as perfect years ago as they are today. That is really a great song.
I hope you are all enjoying your training days or your "get outside" days. I am only 2 days away to double digits till the marathon. I think today I am at 101 days (see right side of blog) and soon it will only be 99 days! I can't believe I am almost 1 month into my "training"... time is flying by.
Until next time - Kelly
